Ceramic bearings have excellence performance by virtue of the electricity and magnetism resistance, anti-corrosion, self-lubrication and maintenance, low noise, higher load capacity, high/low temperature resistance, etc. They are not stronger than steel but lighter. The lower friction than steel allows them to go faster with lower heat generated during the rotation.

The plastic bearings commonly used now are generally divided into plastic rolling bearings and plastic sliding bearings. Their working principles can be distinguished from each other judged by their names. The friction belongs to rolling friction whose degree is contingent on the precision when the former works while the latter being sliding friction, the degree of which is dependent on the material of the bearing’s plane of sliding.
